Born in Philadelphia and later raised in Delaware, FIYA always had a quiet desire to express herself through music and fashion. It wasn’t until her sophomore year at the University of Delaware, that that quiet passion turned into a roar. That’s when her younger sister and friends encouraged her to follow heart and dreams. FIYA’s sound is an energetic mix of pop, hip-hop and R&B. Influenced by many diverse artists such as Chaka Khan, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston, and Maroon 5, FIYA was exposed to many different types of music growing up. One of the things FIYA enjoys most is performing for a live audience. “I love the stage, that is where I get to touch people emotionally and get feedback in real-time”. Upon graduating from University of Delaware in May, 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management, she decided to pull all of her resources together to launch her singing career. FIYA launched two You Tube channels, SafiSings to express her passion for music and Br0nzeQt a tutorial for all things hair, makeup and fashion. Within months, FIYA had tens of thousands of hits and thousands of subscribers on her channels. At that time FIYA’s talent came to the attention of Philadelphia production team, The MATRAX, and producer, Vidal Davis (Usher, Alicia Keys, Michael Jackson). With over a million and a half hits on You Tube and 22,000 subscribers FIYA decided to release her first single due to be released for the 2011 Holiday season. The single, titled “Wishing You Home” written by talented VA-based artist, Joe Tann, is a ballad filled with touching lyrics about feeling the absence of loved ones during the holidays. The soprano sirens’ clear and soulful vocal delivery breathes life into this heartfelt ballad. With a combination of stunning vocals, striking looks, charming demeanor, and impassioned determination, FIYA is sure to make her mark on the industry.

evicted from their Brooklyn, New York apartment and made to live on the streets, on subways or find warmth on hotel hallway floors.
Reading allowed him to travel to foreign and distant places; reading allowed him to travel beyond his reality.
As an entertainment manager, songwriter, composer and producer,
Glenn Toby has been involved in numerous community service projects, including Camp Cool-J,
Americorps and the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
His life is The Book Bank Foundation,
and his gift is your involvement.

What up ! Im back with a video plus a mixtape ! The mixtape is called "HUNGRY" , nothing but bars for the hip hop heads ! "Emergency" is one of the tracks from this mixtape we have done a video for ( other videos @ http://vimeo.com/channels/platv ). Check out the new project and let me know what you think . Also this mixtape was not planned , it took about 2 weeks to records and mix it since i do this all myself , This tape is dedicated to all my listeners who have shown me support so how could i not cook something up?
